Uc Clavero, suspected to have been “made” on the mysterious and legendary island of San Borondón, the 9th island of the Canary archipelago, ended up being born in Barcelona/Spain and raised in Lanzarote for several years, but finally decided to move to Porto/Portugal because an artist cannot live far from his muse.
A sculptor by nature, wood is his material of choice, preferring its conscious, ecological and sustainable use, followed by clay and fabric.
He designs surreal and fictional parallel universes, between the beautiful and absurd, he loves making strange instruments and toys.
Collaborator at Peculiar Gallery, co-founder of the Collective “Os peculiares” and co-author of the embryonic project “Dollolandia” will be now presenting his recent project called “Moledros”.
